We woke up this morning to a BEAUTIFUL day so I called Leigh and we decided to take the kids to the park. We packed sandwiches, bottles, hotwheels, and strollers and headed out to enjoy this springtime weather. Gregory loves the playground and riding his hotwheels around the walking track and Natalie and Wyatt both love being outside in the breezy air. It was very sunny so Natalie wore her cutie pie sunglasses (check the sidebar for that pic). After lunch, we put the kiddos in the stroller and did a few laps around the track. I love springtime and I love my family. Days like today make me sooooo glad we're back in Alabama.

A Little Photoshopping
I got bored yesterday during Natalie's nap so I played around in photoshop with a couple of the pictures I took of Nat and Wyatt at the Easter Egg Hunt. They turned out kinda cool. Take a look.

Easter Weekend
Easter is so much fun when you have a kid! On Saturday, we went to an Easter Egg Hunt. Nat's too little to do much hunting, but she had fun hanging out with Wyatt in his new stroller and watching her big cousin, Gregory hunt eggs. Saturday night we went to Aunt Leigh and Uncle Kevin's house to have dinner and dye eggs. Natalie slept through the egg-dying, but Joe and I created some masterpieces! Before church on Sunday morning, Natalie found the surprises left for her by the Easter Bunny... Enjoy the pics!

Lighten Up
I thought the blog could use a lighter look for spring. Hope you like it.

Grave Digger
After our picnic yesterday, we went over to Joe's store because the monster truck Grave Digger was there for a promotional thing. Joe tried to tell me that we were taking Natalie but we all know we were really taking Joe to see it. Either way, it was fun and I took some funny pics.
He was like a little kid with a new toy.
Joe and one of the guys he works with.
Natalie's first look at a monster truck. She wasn't very impressed.
This pic makes me laugh every time I look at it.

Like A Lion
Remember that saying from Elementary School? - "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb." - referring to the weather, of course. Well, it's definitely been true this year. In the last 2 weeks I've seen 75 degree weather followed by 28 degrees and snowing, crazy thunderstorms that knocked out power for about 8 hours, and for the past couple of days it's been at least 80 degrees out. March weather is CRAZY. We're half way through the month so maybe we're through with the "lion" part and can start getting to the calm lamb-like weather. It's nice out today, so we're going on a picnic. Crazy weather or not, I love springtime.

Checking In
I'm back. I know it's been almost a month since I've posted anything. Sorry! Life has been busy lately and I haven't had much luck with finding time to be online. So, if you're a regular reader of our blog, you'll be happy to know that I plan to post much more frequently.
So much has been going on that it would take forever if I made individual posts for it all so here's a quick run-down:
Natalie is growing like crazy. She's eating in her high chair (pics coming soon), she loves to jump and bounce all the time (in her exersaucer or when you stand her in your lap), and she's started raising her arms up to you when she wants to be picked up. It's so cute! We can't wait for her to be able to hug us and this is as close as she's gotten so far. We had her 5 months pictures taken last week - adorable! We haven't picked them up yet, but I'll try to get them up here when we do.
Joe's car is finally fixed. (I know, you didn't know it was broken because I haven't posted in forever...but it was). The roof was leaking and every time it rained his seat got wet so he had to do all this grinding and sanding and bondo-ing and painting and stuff to the roof of the car and it took about a week. So for the week of roof repair, he had to drive my car to work. Being without a car is not fun at all. But, as of Monday, Joe's car is leak free and I have mine back.
How great is it to have a husband who can fix things and a happy baby. Life is good.
